Tobit – One of my favorite Old Testament books

The book of Tobit, from which the first reading for today is taken, is another one of the deuterocanonical books.  It is an amazing story.  But, the lectionary is going to cut it off when we go into Lent.  So, I’m posting a video below of an overview of the book (Be aware the video is made by members of the Church of England.  We are pretty close with them doctrinally, but they may say some things not exactly Catholic.  They believe the deuterocanonical books are useful, but only to a limited degree).  I hope you’ll take the time to read the whole Book of Tobit.
